SUMMER TRENDS
Summer fashion has always been about more than just trends. For me, it’s about finding the balance between style, comfort, and authenticity, especially during a season where we naturally want to feel lighter, freer, and more connected to ourselves.
Over the years, I’ve become much more intentional about the way I dress in summer. The fabrics we choose, the quality of the pieces we invest in, and even the way we rewear items already sitting in our wardrobe all play a huge role. Breathable fabrics, relaxed silhouettes, timeless staples, and thoughtful accessories can completely transform a look without the need to constantly buy more.
I also believe that sustainability and personal style can absolutely coexist. Some of my favorite outfits come from mixing elevated basics I already own with a few seasonal details that make everything feel fresh again. Sometimes, it’s not about having more, it’s about styling what you already have in a way that feels current and true to you.
And while trends can be inspiring, they’re never one-size-fits-all. Not every trend is meant for everyone, and that’s completely okay. The most important thing will always be feeling comfortable, confident, and aligned with yourself. Fashion should never feel like a costume, it should feel like an extension of who you are.
Here are some of the summer trends I’ve personally been loving lately pieces and styles that feel authentic to me, easy to wear, and perfect for creating elevated looks while still feeling comfortable.
Bra-inspired tops
Even though summer hasn’t officially started yet, I’ve already been noticing some of the trends that are going to define the season, and bra-inspired tops are definitely one of them.
What I love about this trend is how effortless and versatile it feels. Styled with oversized linen pants, relaxed tailoring, or lightweight layers, these pieces can instantly make a look feel elevated while still staying comfortable and easy to wear.
Peplum Pieces
Peplum pieces are another trend I’ve been seeing everywhere lately — and honestly, I love the feminine and elevated feeling they bring to a look.
What makes this trend so interesting is how flattering and versatile it can be. Whether it’s incorporated into tops, skirts, or dresses, the silhouette naturally adds structure and movement while still feeling soft and effortless.
I also love that peplum pieces can instantly make even the simplest outfit feel more styled and intentional. Paired with denim, tailored pants, or minimal accessories, they create that perfect balance between elegant and modern, which is exactly the energy I love for summer dressing.
Monocromatic looks
Monochromatic looks are another trend I know will continue dominating this summer, especially because of how effortless yet elevated they can feel.
For this look, I chose a monochromatic lace set in soft lilac tones that feels feminine, modern, and slightly romantic while still keeping a very clean silhouette. I’ve always loved the power that a single color palette can bring to an outfit. It creates harmony, elongates the body, and instantly makes even simple pieces feel more intentional and refined.
What I also love about monochromatic dressing is how versatile it is. You can play with textures, fabrics, and accessories while still maintaining a cohesive look.
In this case, the lace adds softness and femininity, while the fitted silhouette keeps the overall styling sleek and confident, which feels very aligned with the energy I personally love for summer.
Summer Dresses
Dresses are, without a doubt, one of the most essential pieces of summer dressing. They’re effortless, feminine, comfortable, and somehow always manage to make you feel instantly put together with very little effort.
What I love most about summer dresses is the versatility they offer. From lightweight linens and soft cottons to silkier, more elevated fabrics, the right dress can completely shift depending on how you style it and where you’re wearing it.
Whether it’s a relaxed daytime look or something more elegant for dinner and evenings out, dresses always bring that effortless chic energy that defines summer for me.
I also think dresses are one of those timeless pieces that never really go out of style. They allow you to feel comfortable while still looking polished, feminine, and confident, which, at the end of the day, is what great summer style is really about.
Accesories
Accessories are what truly bring a summer look to life. Even the simplest outfit can feel elevated and intentional with the right details, and this season I’m especially loving pieces that feel bold, playful, and full of personality.
Oversized sunglasses continue to be one of my favorite staples, timeless, effortless, and perfect for instantly adding a chic touch to any look. I’m also gravitating toward colorful bags and textured pieces that make even neutral outfits feel more interesting and fresh. Vibrant sandals are another trend I’m excited about this summer, especially in bold shades that add energy and contrast to more minimal looks.
Printed scarves are also making their way back in such a beautiful and versatile way, whether styled in the hair, around the neck, or tied onto a bag. And of course, statement earrings with ornate details, sculptural shapes, and vintage-inspired finishes are the kind of accessories that can completely transform an outfit without trying too hard.
For me, accessories are where personal style really shows. They allow you to experiment with trends in a way that still feels authentic and easy to wear.
