Some experiences feel so extraordinary that they almost seem unreal, and my recent journey to Venice with Dior was undoubtedly one of them.
From the moment I arrived in the enchanting city of Venice, I felt as though I had stepped into a dream. Surrounded by centuries of history, breathtaking architecture, and the unmistakable romance of the Venetian canals, every detail felt magical. Staying at the iconic Hotel Cipriani, overlooking the lagoon, made the experience even more memorable. There is something truly special about waking up in Venice, watching the light dance across the water, and knowing that you are about to witness a moment in fashion history.

The occasion was Diorissima, Dior’s extraordinary Haute Joaillerie presentation, held at the magnificent Palazzo del Casinò on the Venice Lido. It was an event that beautifully celebrated craftsmanship, creativity, and artistry at the highest level. One of the most fascinating aspects of the experience was witnessing the dialogue between the worlds of Haute Couture and Haute Joaillerie. The collection reflected the incredible vision of Victoire de Castellane, whose creations continue to redefine the art of fine jewelry through imagination, symbolism, and exceptional savoir-faire. Every piece felt like a work of art, carefully crafted to tell a story and evoke emotion.
What made Diorissima particularly remarkable was the creative dialogue between Victoire de Castellane and Jonathan Anderson. Through her extraordinary vision for Haute Joaillerie, Victoire de Castellane created a dreamlike universe inspired by nature, fantasy, and the joy of life, an enchanting world brought to life through exceptional gemstones, intricate craftsmanship, and poetic storytelling.
At the same time, Jonathan Anderson brought a fresh perspective to Dior’s Haute Couture, creating silhouettes designed to complement and elevate the jewelry. His ability to honor the heritage of the House while introducing a modern and distinctive point of view added a new dimension to the presentation. The delicate draping, rich textures, and refined details of the couture pieces created a beautiful harmony with Victoire’s creations, allowing the jewelry and fashion to exist in perfect conversation.

Being invited to experience Diorissima firsthand was a true honor. It deepened my appreciation not only for the beauty of Haute Couture and Haute Joaillerie, but also for the extraordinary creativity and craftsmanship behind every creation.
